Empower & Equip People for Kingdom Impact

January 2, 2018

At Forge America we long to see the reign of God revealed in the everyday places we live, work and play. To do this, Forge partners with individuals and local churches around the country to train men and women to live as missionaries where they are already doing life.

We are convinced that God is already at work in the everyday spaces of our lives. The places we live and the people we live alongside are important. In fact, these are the places and people God has sent us to. It is here that Forge America wants to come alongside everyday individuals to empower and equip them to join God in His redemptive mission. We do not want to extract people from their context rather we want to come to them. We are not sending people over borders and across seas rather we are helping ordinary followers of Jesus realize they have already been sent into neighborhoods and networks. It is in these places we want to empower and equip people to make a Kingdom difference.

To help accomplish those outcomes we will be offering a missional pre-conference at Expo East titled “Creating a Missional Disciple-Making Process.” In addition to the pre-conference the Forge America team (Alan Hirsch, Deb Hirsch, Mike Frost, Hugh Halter, Laura Hairston, Ryan Hairston, Brad Brisco, and Jon Ritner) will be offering ten different workshops to help move missional theology towards practical living.

We hope to see you at the Forge Pre-conference or one of the workshops in the missional track.
