We’ve done a lot of talking about virtual reality, the most prevalent of the Web3 technologies, which makes today’s conversation about augmented reality (AR)—a blending of computer design and physical reality—more fun. While AR has not yet taken off (there are not many developers offering AR products at affordable prices), some designers are doing incredible things for the kingdom with these revolutionary tools.
Enter L.Michelle to the conversation. L.Michelle Salvant is a Christian artist who is designing a whole new way to experience stories, testimonies, and even sermons using augmented reality. Through a process called “immersive journaling,” documenting her life through Snapchat’s Smartglasses, and graphic design, L.Michelle is experimenting with a new method of storytelling through AR that could potentially revolutionize how we present sermons in physical space.
So jump in as Jeff and L.Michelle explore how the futuristic technology of augmented reality can be impacting churches today.
