With over 35 volunteers, Worship Pastor Fabi Hamstra seeks to build a culture of purpose that is both Spirit led and also fun. Soul City Church is a diverse, young congregation in the West Loop area of Chicago. Fabi served as one of the worship leaders and then assumed the role of worship pastor at the onset of the pandemic in 2020. In this interview, we will explore how Fabi seeks to keep her own heart and the hearts of her team in the right place.
