Join thousands of church planting leaders for four days of inspiration, encouragement and equipping at Exponential East church planting conference in Orlando. The conference will feature 175+ speakers, 125+ workshops, 9+ tracks, 5,000 church planting leaders and sunny Orlando, Florida. Don’t miss the largest gathering of church planting leaders in the world.

Dream Big is the theme for Exponential 2017. Jesus challenged us with a big dream. If He had sketched out His big dream for His Church, we think it would be something like, “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes up on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8). The dream that Jesus gave His followers was the dream of a movement. Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, the ends of the earth—that is a very big dream! We are here because of that dream. As Christ followers and leaders of His church, Jesus is asking us to also dream big!

Join us in 2017 as we dive into what it looks like to dream big for your church—and the Kingdom.

  • Missional: FORGE Missionary Training for the Local Church
Missional: FORGE Missionary Training for the Local Church Now that America has become a mission context, churches are beginning to recognize that the need is not for more and better programs, presentations or preaching. Instead a mission field needs Missionaries. Normal everyday people who know how to engage culture with the gospel, form missionary communities, and re-orient their lives around kingdom values and behaviors. In this Pre-conference, the Forge team (Alan and Deb Hirsch, Hugh Halter, Ryan Hairston and Brad Brisco) will move from missional inspiration to doable missional apprenticeship. We will discuss:

    • The Missionary Nature of Church
    • “Deconsumerizing” & Decentralizing the Saints
    • Moving Small Groups to Missionary Communities
    • Activating ALL the People of God
    • Synergizing the Gathered and Scattered Structures
•How to Apprentice Others into Mission
  • Multi-Ethnic: Embracing Disruption
Multi-Ethnic: Embracing Disruption An increasingly diverse and cynical society will no longer find credible the mere explanation of theological truth apart from effective community engagement. Advancing the common good, then, and thus the very Gospel, itself, must involve more than mere words, and the building of large congregations filled with people of a similar race, class, or cultural background. In this present future, our common confession must be validated by concrete action and accompanying measurable results along spiritual, social and economic fronts. Indeed this is the expectation of Christ in Matthew 5:16 and of the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 2:10.

Whether you're the pastor of an existing church or soon-to-be church planter, don't miss this first ever presentation designed to help you advance disruption innovation, effective community engagement, and maximize your church's influence in the community.

In part, will empower you with promising practices as we consider:

    • 5 Ways Christ Advanced Disruption and Why the Church Must, Too
    • 3 Reasons Why Rhetoric Fails to Produce Measurable Results in Church Planting
    • 7 Reasons Churches Fail to Position for the Future and Maximize Opportunity
    • 7 Ways to Fuel Disruptive Innovation in and through the Local Church
    • 10 Signs You're a Disruptive Innovator and Why it Matters
    • 10 Scenarios Suggesting a Church is Ripe for Disruption
    • 3 Fronts on which Effective 21st Century Churches are Simultaneously Engaged

Speakers: Mark DeYmaz, Oneya Okuwobi, Chris Brooks, Daniel Im
  • Multiplication: Movement Mobilization hosted by 100 Movements
Multiplication: Movement Mobilization hosted by 100 Movements Ten years ago, in his ground breaking and seminal book called The Forgotten Ways, Alan Hirsch identified 6 key elements that he suggested were common in every significant Christian movement. Over the last 10 years, numerous churches and Christian organizations have used this resource to help them begin to reimagine their own church as a movement. The challenge for the church has been and is to move those same ideas from paradigm shift to practice. This Exponential Movement Pre-conference will help Christian leaders and churches identify, assess and grow their practice of these 6 key elements for movement capacity. While many churches excel in some of these elements, few have been able to reach Level 5 capacity in all 6 parts of the mDNA (movement DNA). In this Multiplication Pre-Conference Journey, leaders will be introduced to the 6 elements of mDNA, leverage the biblical narrative as an interpretive lens for understanding their church’s journey toward movement capacity, and identify the major barriers to making progress in building out their church as a movement.

Speakers: Alan Hirsch, Neil Cole, Will Mancini, Jessie Cruickshank, and Dave Rhodes
  • Multisite hosted by MultiSite Solutions
Multisite hosted by MultiSite Solutions Day 1: Multisite Best Practices (Monday, April 24, 1pm-5pm)

Every week over 5 million people attend one of the 5,000+ multisite churches across North America. Multisite has truly become the "new normal" for healthy, growing, outreach-oriented churches. Although every multisite church eventually adopts their own unique approach, there are also some very identifiable best practices emerging across the multisite movement. Learn what's working best in the multisite world and evaluate your multisite fit with Jim Tomberlin and Wade Burnett from MultiSite Solutions.

Day 2: Radical Multisite Lab (Tuesday, April 25, 8am-11:30am)

The future of the multisite movement belongs to churches who want to move beyond adding one or two campuses and who instead long to see their church begin multiplying congregations exponentially. These pioneering churches seek to operate out of a multiplication culture by reproducing disciples and campuses at an accelerating rate. In this pre-conference lab, Wade Burnett and Jim Tomberlin examine the characteristics of multiplying multisite churches and invite you to begin taking steps now toward becoming a future movement-making multisite church. Regardless of whether you are launching your first campus or your tenth, there are concrete steps you can take now to prepare for the new season of multiplication ahead.

Speakers: Jim Tomberlin and Wade Burnett
  • Personal Calling hosted by Younique
Personal Calling hosted by Younique Personal calling is the impetus for becoming a Level 5 church. While we might be able to mobilize people toward mission best in groups, it is as we help people move beyond a generic sense of calling, with their lives individually, that our groups begin to multiply. This Exponential Pre-Conference opportunity will not only help you gain clarity in your own personal calling, but will also help you imagine what it might look like to build out a Level 5 culture where every believer has the possibility to grow into the dream that God has been having about their life since before they were even born.

Speakers: Will Mancini, Dave Rhodes and David Loveless
