Scott Chapman

Scott loves to see people come alive to God and begin to “live the Bible,” that is, to experience for themselves everything they read about in the pages of Scripture. That passion, and his driving belief that “the eyes of the Lord still range throughout the earth, looking to strongly support all those who wholeheartedly believe in Him,” (2 Chronicles 16:9) fuels The Chapel, the church family Scott leads. The Chapel is a non-denominational, multi-site church gathering in eight locations across the suburban ring of Chicago, pursuing revival in their city. Scott is convinced that when God looks down from heaven, he does not see many different churches, but one Church gathering in many different locations. His prayer is for the Church to walk together as one body and partner with God to see a widespread spiritual awakening. Toward that end, Scott has been an integral part in developing Christ Together, a large and growing network of churches across the United States, who are moving together to bring the good news of Jesus to every man, woman and child in our country.

Born and raised in God’s country (northeast Ohio), Scott earned a Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University and a Master’s Degree of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Scott and his wife, Tammy, live in Chicagoland with their three children, who all cheer for the Buckeyes.
