Akie Hadeed is the CEO and founder of Streets of Prayer. He blends his technical expertise (honed during 20+ years as a software developer) with his passion for prayer and walking with God. His mission? To connect and mobilize a family of believers so that together we will cover every person and surround every street in the world in prayer, believing that every person can be saved. Akie prays daily for Jesus to come back soon. When he is not immersed in prayer, you’ll find him enjoying his family at the beach and the pool and taking walks. Akie loves nature. Akie loves connecting with people—listening to their stories and dreaming big together. The vision of Streets of Prayer is to mobilize 1 billion believers in Jesus to cover every person and every street in persistent prayer by 2030. Akie became a believer and follower of Jesus in high school (1992) and has, by the grace of God, continued to pursue the Lord. Akie has been married to his wife Susie since 2010 and they have 3 children – Jasmine, Sarah and Matthew.
