Andrew Hoffman

Bay Area Church Planting Network, Director

Andrew Hoffman is a veteran church planter and pastor with three decades of frontline and national leadership. He founded Solano Community Church near Berkeley, California, in 2004 and subsequently helped launch twelve churches across Northern California and Nevada. From there, he led ReachNetwork, the Evangelical Free Church of America’s national church planting effort, where he oversaw the planting of approximately 20–30 churches per year. Andrew now serves the Bay Area Church Planting Network, advancing a shared vision to reach 1% of the Bay Area with the gospel by 2050. He holds both an MDiv and an MA in New Testament from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, where he studied under D. A. Carson, and he is ordained through the EFCA. Andrew and his wife, Jodie, have been married for 30 years and are the parents of four adult children.
