Dr. Avery “Lady A” Atkinson is a Holistic Wellness Practitioner and thought leader on cultural identity and exchange. She holds Bachelor of Social Work, Master of Divinity, and Doctorate of Ministry degrees. She is the founder of Passport University, which curates international experiences for first generation college students attending HBCUs. Lady A speaks on the necessity and positive effects of black globalization based on her life abroad as an expat. She has facilitated cultural intelligence workshops and taught classes on diversity and inclusion from a holistic wellness perspective. Her passionate and intentional impact has been felt worldwide inclusive of the Korean Times, MBC Korean Television Network, ASIA1040 radio, Compton College, California State University-Long Beach, UNIST University (Ulsan, South Korea), Busan University (Busan, South Korea), NC A&T University, North Carolina Central University, and the University of the District of Columbia.
