Dr. David Platt is the lead pastor of McLean Bible Church. His first love in ministry is disciple-making—the simple biblical model of teaching God’s Word, mentoring others, and sharing faith. He has traveled extensively to teach the Bible to church leaders throughout the United States and around the world. He is the author of the New York Times best seller Radical: Taking Back Your Faith from the American Dream and of Follow Me: A Call to Die. A Call to Live. Platt founded a resource ministry, Radical.net, dedicated to serving the church and making disciples of all nations. A life-long learner, David has earned two undergraduate and three advanced degrees. He has previously served as pastor of The Church at Brook Hills in Birmingham, Alabama. David and his wife, Heather, live in Virginia with their five children.
