Dennis Rivera

Dennis J. Rivera serves as the director of the Office of Hispanic and Ethnic Relations for the Assemblies of God national office located in Springfield, Missouri. He has served in this role since 2017. Dennis lives in Springfield, Missouri and has been married to Naomi for 48 years. They have four children and nine grandchildren. Dennis has 24 years (1977-2001) of pastoral experience serving in Idaho and Colorado with the Assemblies of God -Central Hispanic District. Dennis later served for 16 years (2001- 2017) as the District Superintendent of the Central Hispanic District (Denver, Colorado). His education includes a diploma in Biblical Studies from Latin American Bible Institute (LABI), El Paso, Texas (now Christ Mission College, San Antonio, Texas); a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministries from Southwestern AG University (now Nelson University), Waxahachie, Texas; a Master of Arts in Christian Leadership Studies from Liberty University Seminary, Lynchburg, Virginia. He is finishing the Doctor of Ministry program at Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Missouri. He currently serves as the board chairman for Christ Mission College (CMC), in San Antonio, Texas.
