Church planting has been in Don’s story since the beginning. His father was a pastor of a small church in New York that had been planted by the Go Ye Chapel Mission (now known as Orchard Group). His mother grew up in another plant from the same organization. Don never intended to be in full-time ministry, but God had other plans. He spent 18 years in 3 large churches before coming to work with the Exponential Team. He has a vision to help creatively communicate and illustrate what’s next for the Church. When he isn’t working with Exponential, he leads an organization called StoryLabs that consults and teaches leadership teams of churches on how to tell their unique story. Don also serves as the Executive Director of Creative Ministries at Hope Community Church in Raleigh, NC. Don lives in Raleigh with his wife Jenna and their three boys — Brayden, Ian, and Gavin.
