Church planting has been in Don’s story since the beginning. His father was a pastor of a small church in New York that had been planted by the Go Ye Chapel Mission (now known as Orchard Group). His mother grew up in another church plant from the same organization. Don never intended to be in full-time ministry, but God had other plans. He has spent the last 29 years working as a pastor and the last 12 years working with the team at Exponential. He has a vision to help creatively communicate and illustrate what’s next for the church. When he isn’t working with Exponential, he leads an organization called StoryLabs that consults and teaches leadership teams of churches on how to tell their unique story. Don lives in Raleigh with his wife Jenna and their three sons – Brayden, Ian, and Gavin.
