Matt Souza, also known online as Pastor Souzy, is 33 years old, is married to his best friend Amanda, and together they live in the beautiful state of Oregon. After attaining a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and Pastoral Ministry from Northpoint Bible College, Matt started live streaming himself playing video games on a platform called Twitch to share the love of Jesus with gamers all around the world! During his live streams, he answers questions, prays with people, and provides hope and encouragement. After seeing many gamers decide to follow Jesus during his live streams, he began to encourage them to attend a local church. Unfortunately, many of these gamers were being turned away from many local churches due to their love for gaming. Therefore, Matt and his wife Amanda launched XP Church, the world’s first church for gamers. Ten years later, you can still watch Matt live-streaming on Twitch, playing video games, sharing the love of Jesus with gamers who do not know God, and teaching the Bible in a way that is relevant to gamers.
