Walt Quick is a Teaching Pastor and Location Pastor at Hope Church NYC. He has been in vocational ministry for over 20 years. He spent a decade on staff with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship in both Washington, DC and the Boston metro area. He has been serving at local churches in the years since then. Walt has served in a variety of pastoral contexts, including as a campus pastor at a multisite church, an executive pastor who oversaw staffing and strategy, and as a teaching pastor. Walt has done coaching and consulting with churches and nonprofits on preacher development, community formation, and tools from Emotionally Healthy Discipleship. He has a Masters in Theology from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and is ordained in the Evangelical Covenant Church. Walt lives in Brooklyn, NY with his wife and two young kids, and enjoys coaching CrossFit and exploring all that NYC has to offer.
