This Shark Tank style event includes live stage presentations, up close and personal break out sessions, and grants totalling over $100,000 awarded to the ministries pitching. This March we hit an amazing milestone and celebrated giving away over $1 million dollars in grants to innovative ministries who are shaping the future of the church through NEXT Ventures!

At NEXT Ventures we have created a process to build a portfolio of these pioneering movements! Each year we identify incredible leaders and ministries to invite to our Shark Tank events. These events are the highlight of our year and a place to not only invest in these projects through small capital grants, but to also collaborate, network, and learn.
NEXT Ventures is designed to foster innovation by making a significant Kingdom investment in ministry practitioners committed to shaping what’s next for the future church.
Through NEXT Ventures we have a front-row seat in discovering, connecting, learning from, and investing in hundreds of innovative ministry leaders. These ministries are practical, actionable approaches to ministry that historians will one day conclude were critical to the success of the future church. We’re not looking for academic solutions. Instead, we seek to identify and equip innovative leaders who are in the trenches making a difference!
We are convinced that twenty years from now, we will look back and see the profound impact this investment has made in changing the trajectory of the church and multiplying disciples, leaders, churches, networks, and movements.
Over the past five years, NEXT Ventures has invested over $1,000,000 in 70+ innovative ministry projects and 15+ networks. We have hosted six Shark Tank events, with more to come. And over the next few days, we will award $103,000!
