Exponential Orlando 2020 — Day 1

March 3, 2020

On the first day of Exponential 2020, thousands of Kingdom leaders arrived in Orlando, Fla., for inspiration, encouragement, and equipping.

Check out a video with highlights from day one:

After a morning of sponsors setting up, attendees took part in more than 30 pre-conference sessions.

With more than 1,500 church multiplication leaders from all 50 states and over 25 countries, the initial day at First Baptist Orlando featured sessions led by Kingdom leaders discussing disciple making, engaging local communities, women in ministry, and so much more.

After checking in today, attendees browsed by sponsor tables and grabbed lunch at food trucks.

In a session entitled “Disciple Making: Activating Level 5 Disciple Making Churches,” hosted by Discipleship.org, church multiplication leaders were treated to the leadership and wisdom of Bill Hull, co-founder of The Bonhoeffer Project; Shodankeh Johnson, a pastor and church planter in Sierra Leone; and other Kingdom leaders. The presenters spoke about the crucial importance of prayer and fasting in the daily life of a Christian.

“This is where prayer and fasting have met disciple-making on the road to obedience,” said Hull. “That’s what makes this unique, what makes this a movement.”
