Anne Bosarge then explains how a Facebook discipleship group of 30 women grew to 1500 people and how online discipleship can move people from consumers to contributors and finally, creators.

Anne Bosarge

Anne Bosarge works with the South Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church as the Director of Leadership Strategies and Local Church Resources where she provides leadership development for clergy and laity and works in new church development. In addition to her role with the United Methodist Church, she is founder of Digital Discipleship (www.digitaldiscipleship.online), a digital discipleship organization reaching thousands around the globe through two faith communities, “The Chapel Online” and “Becoming More,” both that gather primarily on Facebook and WhatsApp.  These two online communities provide daily discipleship to individuals from over 50 countries and seek to reignite a passion for discipleship around the globe.  Anne has over 20 years of full-time ministry experience and 10 years in education.  Anne is the author of many books available on Amazon, including small group curriculum for Becoming More’s seasonal online and in-person small groups.  She has also worked with The Church Digital to provide a framework for walking other churches through establishing their own digital discipleship communities.  Anne lives in Brunswick, GA with her husband, Corey and two black labs.  She enjoys baking, reading, writing, and spending time with her son Jacob and daughter Rosalyn and son-in-law, Drew.  You can connect with Anne on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. 
Preston Ulmer

Preston Ulmer

Preston Ulmer is the founder and director of The Doubters’ Club, an organization that teaches Christians and atheists to model friendship and pursue truth together. Additionally, he leads on the Executive Team with JXP. He is a pastor at North Point Church in Springfield, MO. Previously, he was network development director with the Church Multiplication Network (CMN), a youth pastor, a young adult pastor, and a church planter. Preston has two master’s degrees, one in religion and one in divinity, and is the author of The Doubters’ Club and Deconstruct Faith Discover Jesus.
