Tom CheyneyTom Cheyney is the founder and directional leader of the RENOVATE National Church Revitalization Conference and leader of the RENOVATE Church Revitalization Virtual Coaching Network where he mentors pastors, churches, and denominational leaders in Church Revitalization and Renewal all across North America. He serves as the National Host of the weekly Church Revitalization and Renewal Podcast. Dr. Cheyney has written over 5,000 print, audio resources, guides, or books for church revitalizers, pastors, church planters, and lay leaders. His most recent books are: Practical Tools for Reinventing the Dying Church, The Church Revitalizer as Change Agent, The Seven Pillars of Church Revitalization and Renewal, The Nuts and Bolts of Church Revitalization, Preaching Towards Church Revitalization and Renewal, and Thirty-Eight Church Revitalization Models for the Twenty First Century. Currently he is in the final stages of finishing Slaying the Dragons of Church Revitalization and Renewal: Confronting the Critical Issues that are Killing Your Church which is due out in March of 2017. Dr. Cheyney leads the monthly Renovate One-Day Training, which is open to pastors and church leaders across North America. Tom is a nationally recognized conference speaker and a frequent writer on church revitalization, church planting, new church health, and leadership development. He serves as the executive editor of the Church Revitalizer Magazine, which is the only national magazine on church revitalization and renewal. His passion is to see the plateaued and declining church become healthy and vibrant once again. The Renovate Group exists for that purpose.

Greg WiensGreg Wiens has been assessing leaders and organizations for over 40 years. He has worked with organizations that range in size and interest from Fortune 100 companies and public schools, to small non-profits and churches. His forte is assessing leaders, and his passion is seeing the Kingdom expanded through engaging leaders toward health and impact. He has pastored and planted churches as well as founded a number of organizations. He currently leads Healthy Growing Leaders which designs, develops and debriefs assessments on leaders and organizations. In addition, Greg has developed 20 different assessments in a variety of fields and has been part of thousands of leadership assessments over the past four decades.

Ron EdmondsonRon Edmondson is a pastor, teacher and church leadership consultant and currently the CEO of Leadership Network. Leadership Network has a huge footprint in helping church achieve Kingdom growth. Prior to this, Ron pastored for 16 years, leading in two church plants and two revitalizations. Ron believes the church should be a positive influencer for change in a community.

Ron spent over 20 years in the business world. Beginning to work at the age of 12, Ron worked in the grocery business through high school, spent 10 years in retail management, and then became self-employed until entering the ministry 15 years ago. In business, Ron owned an insurance agency, which was one of the fastest growing in the state, and a small manufacturing facility employing over 35 people. Additionally, Ron served as an elected city councilperson and vice-mayor and on dozens of national, state, and local non-profit boards.

Ron has an undergraduate from Austin Peay State University, and two master’s degrees — one, a seminary degree, from Luther Rice and one in organizational leadership from Eastern University. He is currently pursuing his doctorate from Midwestern Seminary.

Rob Peters lives in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He is the Founder and President of Corpus, Inc. a church revitalization ministry that serves many associations, networks, and denominations worldwide. Having served as a senior pastor for 25 years in 3 different churches in 3 different states, Rob launched Corpus, Inc. to help churches and Christian organizations rediscover their passion for ministry. Prior to entering the ministry, Rob worked with Ernst & Young and Deloitte & Touché. He holds a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry from two different seminaries. Rob and his wife Wendy have three children: Anna Grace, John and Liam. Rob is passionate about church planting, church revitalization and leadership development.

Dan TurnerDan Turner is the founding pastor of Northwest Community Church in the middle of Washington, D.C. The church was restarted from a 65 year old church nearing death. He led the congregation through a full closure in 2006, built a launch team, and re-launched the church several months later. Since the restart, attendance has more than quadrupled, and the church is now actively involved in ministry in their local neighborhoods. Dan has also served on staff with the D.C. area church district of the Church of God, Anderson.

Dan earned his Master of Divinity from Anderson Seminary School of Theology and his Doctor of Ministry from Wesley Seminary. Before accepting the call into ministry, he conducted research for the Federal Highway Administration in the areas of signage visibility and construction zone safety. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

He continues his work with church restarts through coaching and consulting with churches and denominational leaders. Dan is married to Kristie, and they are in the midst of playing zone defense with their three very active children all under the age of ten.

Ray GreenRay Green serves as lead pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church in Lexington, KY. Immanuel, recently named one of America’s fastest growing churches, is a multigenerational, multisite church leading people to Jesus and equipping disciples in their faith. Ray is a visionary and strategic leader who desires to see moments turn into movements and has found joy in helping churches grow by rediscovering Kingdom purpose.
